Enlightenment And The Indigoby David
These are my personal beliefs on enlightenment which I would like to share. Although this is my truth, it is no more valid than anyone else's truth. It is a sharing; no more, and no less. Enlightenment is a journey; it is not a destination. We increase our level of enlightenment as we grow, as we ourselves evolve to higher consciousness and greater love. Enlightenment = Becoming More Light. As Indigos, our experiences growing up were typically wrought with challenges ... coming into this world carrying the frequency of change within our very being is not an easy task. We typically did not fit in ... and others knew it. Our very presence by virtue of the new energy we bring into this world challenges old consciousness ... and we know from experience how this can affect others. And so it is not inconceivable that we have had considerable time alone for reflection, introspection, and questions that run deep within our soul. And all in all, I believe that we have learned a capacity for compassion that could not have otherwise been attained. These challenges have helped us grow ... where growth is a key element of enlightenment. As Indigos, we came into this world with gifts ... gifts that will enable us to make a difference in this world during this time of transition to a new and higher consciousness. And part of our own enlightenment is realizing our gifts and the responsibility that comes with them. There is an innate knowing within the depths of our soul that defines this responsibility and the code we will live by ... a code that extends to the far reaches of the Universe and long before this world. Enlightenment is finding our own truth and living it. It is about knowing who we are and why we're here, and how we can live and use our gifts to make a difference in this world. It is seeing ourselves as part of the big picture ... plugging into the greater plan ... and it is working from a place of deep surrender and love for the highest good of all. The more we do so, the less alone we will feel as the illusion of separation disolves. As co-creator of our own reality, we have the gift and the ability to manifest the joy and peace that will balance us out. When we're in that place of deep surrender and trust, doors will open for us. It is believing in and loving ourselves ... there is no separation from God/Goddess or Creation or whatever name we use for the Source. The more we love ourselves, the greater our capacity to love others ... the more we love and help others, the more we are loved and grow ... and the gift returns to us in the manner of the sacred hoop. David
