Indigos and Witchcraft & Paganism

by Lady WingMaker

I get a lot of email and questionnaires that ask what I have to say about witchcraft and paganism. Many people are asking because they feel they are changing and coming out of it and into embracing their true 'selves', as lightworkers, Indigo's Star Children, etc. I will share my answers with all of you so I don't have to keep retyping this. And thanks for asking, too.

I think that life for an Indigo, or for any Lightworker for that matter, is super difficult because of several very important reasons (and many of lesser importance). The main reasons I will cite below:

One reason is due to the difficult electromagnetic spectrum that surrounds earth which tends to cause a sort of blackout in our memories.

Another reason is that our difficult childhood enables us to gain a deeper compassion, which leads to a profound wisdom and understanding as we grow up.

Still another reason, and you have to really open your mind to this: Is that our Nature, (from where we come from), makes us like light bulbs in the night. If you think of what lights do in the dark you will remember how they attract all sorts of moths, bugs, etc. This is, in a manner of speaking, how we attract people to us, but it isn't a positive trait normally, not until we learn how to control our light. In other words, we attract to us many negative people/qualities. It is almost like others see our light and their human jealousy steps in, and those people, in a manner of speaking, want to put our lights out. And they try this in many ways, which equates to all the crap and garbage we have experienced while growing up.

And all these things are very important to our inner growth.....if we survive childhood. And we are left with the seemingly impossible task of awakening after such trials and tribulations have seem to have flattened us.

Just remember, Life can be impossible at times, but Conformity is a killer.

With all that said, and because an Indigo/Lightworker "knows" that they are here for a reason, they will often turn to about anything that gives them back their sense of being different.

That is why I think (and it is my own personal observation and higher guidance) why Indigos/Lightworkers all too often turn to practices like Witchcraft and Paganism (W&P). They don't necessarily turn to W&P for exactly what it offers, but because it appeals to their need for something different, something that might empower them.

And while I am at it, let me add, that organized religion is as detrimental to an Indigo/Lightworker as complacency is.

Then, as the Indigo/Lightworker matures, they realize that W&P still isn't the answer, but quite often it has allowed or enabled them to open up to their real search. As they begin awakening, they will eventually let go of W&P in order to really go after the true reason why they came here in the first place. That real reason is to remember their calling and to work with the Light in whatever way possible, be it healing, teaching, counseling, art, science, math, you name it.

Working with the Light, is a technique found in the stars, or the higher teachings of Light, while W&P are very earthly and earthbound teachings. I am not judging them however, because there are so many techniques/teachings/practices that are good in their own right.

Although my intense nature might squeak through once in a while on this site, I hope you understand that this little dissertation is given from the heart, and with loads of love and compassion.

I hope this helps many of you understand the changes you have gone through, are going through and might go through even more. Every person has to decide for themselves whether W&P is for their higher good, or if it just fills a void in their spirit for the present time. And I ask you to not judge W&P, just as you should never judge a myriad of other teachings/techniques. You can use you own ability to form opinions about anything, but don't let it ever trip you into the trap of judgment.

I hope this helps.

There will be more on this topic coming soon.
