I copied the following paragraph to this page and hope everyone reads it. It is part of a quesntionnaire rsponse that was provided by Wendy A. You will find the entire questionnaire in the Questionnaire Results, under Wendy A. But since this related to children and has a very profound concept in it, I had to post it here. Food For Thought!!! My son who is now 14, was diagnosed at 4 with juvenille psoriatic arthritis (too many joints affected to count), and the prognosis was poor he went from a normal kid to a disabled child within 2 months, I pggybacked him to his first day of kindergarden. I was a practicing herbalist at the time, and really good at what I did. Everything I did for him didn't help at all and I felt that I was making it worse. It was horrible, he couldn't walk, he was in pain 24/7 and the meds the docs were suggesting were carcinogenic, so I was at the point when I had to decide whether to give my son his childhood, or his immune system. I went to bed one night and prayed to "god" that whatever issues of MINE that my felt he needed to help me with and take on himself be given backk to me. (I believe children get sick to serve their parents needs - not a popular opinion). I woke up knowing I needed help with this, and found it. Within 2 weeks (I'm not kidding) my kid was "moving easier", within six months he participated in sports day at the end of kindergarden. He is considered cured now, he has a couple of joints that are evidence of his ordeal, but no pain. He has been active and althletic since - basketball, soccor, snowboarding, dirtbiking, karate, etc etc etc.
I have been asked why I put an Eagle graphic on this section since they are considered birds of prey. It's very simple my friends. Children are sacred to me and need all the protection that we can give them. So yes, the eagle is the bird of prey but I am looking out for children by identifying what is not right or safe for a child. Children need help and guidance from all. Instead, the world treats children as a commodity and the plight that these precious souls face should never, ever be allowed!!! This is why I say parents or primary care givers have the most difficult job on the planet, yet it is the one filled with the most rewards. Let's not allow another child to go through the horrors that most of us have had to do. Yes, I am a bird of prey and I am looking for the abusers.
