THE 9th CHAKRA, THE INDIGO'S ISP

In the mid 80's I was told I functioned from my Ninth Chakra. I asked what it meant and the person said she didn't know, she had never heard about it. That started me on another quest and over the years I've discovered what it is and how it works. But since the Basic Chakra chart covers the first seven chakras, I am going to start this with Chakra Eight then on to the Ninth.

The Eighth Chakra is called the Transpersonal Chakra because at this point we are beginning to go beyond the first seven or Individualization Chakras, those having only to do with our 'self' and body. As we balance the energy in the first seven chakras and begin to move to the higher realms of understanding we do so by of course going through the Eighth chakra.

The first seven chakras have to do with us as an Individual, and the Ninth has to do with the global mind. With that, we naturally need an in-between chakra that allows us to go through the transition comfortably and safely, and to still be able to live and work in the physical world and do the same in the ninth dimension, or a higher world.

The Eighth Chakra is a repository of the patterns, sounds, colors and dramas of our life that shapes who we are and why. But as we choose to move past the lower seven chakras we also move past fear, greed and self-interest and the need for power. In the Eighth is where everything culminates and resolves in order for us to move up to the Ninth chakra without dragging along all the 'stuff' that made us who were are. And it must be that way in order for us to truly understand the highest love of all, and for us to learn in the purest of ways. This is where we move beyond judgment and into the place of the Sacred.

The Ninth Chakra is only something that has been revealed since the Harmonic Convergence in 1987, but many people still do not understand that there are up to 24 major chakras as there are dimensions. That's another page however.

The Ninth Chakra represents that part of the global mind called Earth consciousness and it is here that we are allowed to achieve total clarity of our true intentions so that we may function on Earth as a Guardian or Steward. Anyone can reach this state of consciousness if we desire it, but this is where the Indigo resides as a norm.

To put it into simpler words, compare this to using the Internet. To obtain information from the Internet, 1) you need a computer, 2) you need a phone line, 3) you need an ISP (Internet Service Provider). This gives you access to the world wide web. With that said, 1) you are the computer, 2) your Eighth Chakra is the phone line, and 3) your Ninth Chakra is the ISP (the Internet Service Provider) and with all that, you are able to gain information on a global scale. Without an ISP or that 9th Chakra, you will never make touch with the global mind, yet all Indigo's have that natural ISP/9th Chakra easily accessible. It might lie dormant or unused, but it is there for the tasking.

There is one very important thing to remember, however. I'll give an example. The other day I searched for 'adult lukemia'. I was in a hurry and misspelled leukemia. Here's what I got: A particular web site catering to pornography and other such disgusting information. So what's my point? Be aware that even at the global mind level there are still 'lesser' energies and knowledge available. As was said a moment ago, the Ninth Chakra is the place where you can achieve total clarity of your true intentions. Even simpler put: You will Reap what you Sow on any of these lower dimensions.

Teachings about the Chakras go much higher than this, but for the 'Way of Indigo' this is where the starbus stops for now. I'll go more into the use and operation of the Ninth Chakra in other levels later.
