THE WAY OF THE WARRIOR

In the section about 'how to recognize an Indigo' I mentioned that whatever we Indigos feel and believe, that we do so passionately. Good warriors must have a profound faith and belief in what they are doing or they simply are not good warriors. Indigos have that passion about most things, and add to it unresolved anger, a system busting attitude, and the drive to do something . . . and you get a Warrior. Sometimes it can be a rather obnoxiously blind driven warriorness. Again, if you read about the first transition it should enable you to more understand yourself in order to get over the anger. Anger is one of the most destructive emotions, led only by fear. And until you get rid of the anger your passion will always be misplaced and will mislead you in your soul journey.

Once the anger is resolved, then and only then will you be able to proceed on this journey, and this is more truth than you've probably ever been faced with. If you feel you still have anger that motivates you in any way, shape or form, then most of this web site will be a huge waste of your time, unless of course your journey has now presented you with the 'do or die' attitude toward change.

Let's say that you have resolved your inner angers and rage at the injustices in this life, and you don't feel as desirous to bust each and every system that you know or read about. Let's say you are weary of the battle and so weary that you feel defeated. Ah, that's right where you need to be, but only for a short time. Things have happened that way in order to get you to pay attention. You cannot and will not pay attention as long as you are propelled by any negative emotion. Oh, and don't forget, anger, resentment, fear, etc, is nothing more than a set of reactions to given triggers. So by getting over them you are in fact diminishing the triggers in your life, and taking their power away.

Last night on National Geographic I heard the narrator talking about Polar Bears and he said, "Persistence is the Hallmark of the Hungry." I dashed to my desk to write it down because it hit me so profoundly. Apply it to yourself. You are hungry for the higher truths and your place in them; i.e. your purpose or mission, but as long as you are like a well fed Polar Bear you'll loose your persistence and need for more. Only until you are hungry again will you take up the search again.

So, if anger is filling you up right now, you will have no burning desire for anything but to continue dwelling in that pit of emotion. If you are sick and tired of the same old crap, then you are now in a place of being hungry for something more to fill your life with, and I guarantee that your persistence will get you where you need to be. And where is that place? Read "The Past" on this site and see if you really have overcome it. If so, then you are ready for new food for that hungry soul of yours.

I was once told that I was always surrounded by very strong guardians because of my nature, which was, that I would die for principle. It was true, too. But, because I was not a functioning Indigo my Warriorness was fueled by rage and anger at the injustices in my life and around me. If I had a sword I would have used it! But you see, it was all human nature, not spiritual. Once I realized this and let go of my anger, lo and behold, those powerful guardians dropped their swords too and began their true purpose which was to teach me, not waste their precious time protecting me because of the dangerous situations I always got myself into.

Now, I guess you could say that I am a secret Warrior (chuckle). Instead of anger and rage, I am becoming so filled with love and respect for what we are all about to face that all I can think of is to help others. My anger was replaced by pure persistence. My rage was replaced by tenacity. My consumption with the crap that goes on here has been replaced by higher teachings that tell me that it doesn't matter what is going on in this world. What matters is learning the higher meaning behind it, then I will accomplish something on a grander scale, and it is all done by love.

I remember when I was first being taught about love. Wow, did it ever trigger me! As far as I cared there was no love here, it was all a mockery, and I didn't want any thing to do with it. But you see, I like many others, are comparing love to trust issues. It's our lack of trust that obscures the true meaning of love. If we distrust others, then you can count on the fact that you distrust your 'self' too. Go ahead and argue with me, but you're wasting your energy for two reasons. One, because you shouldn't be arguing with me, and two because this teaching is the truth.

You are the only one on this planet who really knows yourself and your needs. If you are purpose driven then who or where do you go for answers? Of course, the higher aspects of self. But if you distrust yourself then you will never learn what you should be learning. It's all locked up in your soul consciousness, but if you don't trust it, then again, it won't happen.

It's one thing to be a purpose driven warrior, and another to be a stupid and/or ignorant warrior, and because Indigo's are natural warriors it is vital to learn discernment so you know exactly what you are taking up arms for. So far in Level One, I think a good foundation has been laid to help any Indigo get their footing on firm ground. If you are really into being a Warrior Indigo, then consider Level One a course in Battle Tactics. And if you think you are a warrior spirit now, just wait until we get up a few more levels. Until then, you must focus on your foundation before you build your house.

Lastly, always remember, that being a warrior does not mean hurting another person.
