The following is the Level 1 Questionnaire with the results written in Indigo (or close enough). The answers have been complied from 1,000 questionnaire responses received from participants from all over the world.

1. Date of Birth: Average age of participants is 30
2. Sex: 35% male, 65% female
3. Colour of eyes: 15% Hazel, 35% Blue, 50% Brown
4. Race: From all over the world.
5. Religion (feel free to be descriptive): 15% organized Religion, 85% following their heart.
6. Stubbornness (on a scale of 1=not, to 5=very): 5% not stubborn, 70% in the middle, 25% very stubborn.
7. Tenacity (on a scale of 1=not, to 5=very): Again, 5% not stubborn, 70% in the middle, 25% very stubborn.
8. Education Level(for real): 5% College (higher degreed), 65% non high school/equivalent grads, 30% high school grads/equivalent
9. Education Level (what you really think or feel): 5% owned up to a PhD in life experiences, 20% said better than high school, and 75% not able to really explain it.
10. Favourite Colour(s): 15% Indigo, 34% Orange and sun colours, 22% blues, 8% pinks, 21% varying colours

17. If you have Totem Animal(s) or Animal Guides/protectors/guardians etc., explain what they are and whatever else you would like to share: Amazingly, not as many knew what totem animals are, and it seems that not many cared to research it on the web to find out.
18. When you see, hear, or think of an Eagle(s) explain your reaction or take on it: 95% Freedom, 4% other, and even 1% a bird of prey.

20. What languages do you speak? English, Spanish, French were the most common
21. What is your blood type? 90% unsure, 10% pretty much across the board.
22. What do you fear and why? (critters, ET's Armageddon, end times, whatever): 70% feared anger, 30% many other choices

25. Describe your weight: No decisive common denominator here, but overweight does figure in.
26. How many children do you have, ages, etc: 70% have children under age 10, 20% have children between 10 and 18, and 10% have children over 18.
27. If you don't have children, why not? 85% not ready, 10% don't want to bring children into this life, 5% cannot have children
28. What set you apart as a kid, and how did you react or cope with it? Hands down that they did not feel they fit.
29. Have you ever been drawn to Native beliefs or to the Mayans? 70% yes, 30% ambivalent
30. What particular culture are you drawn to? When? Why? Nothing significant
31. Have you ever had a near death experience or an Out of the Body Experience? 3% did, 90% did not, and 7% didn't know what it was
32. Were you ever or are you now a Risk Taker? 89% No, 10% agreed, 1% wasn't sure what it meant.
33. Have you ever felt that you had other parent(s) or siblings(s) elsewhere? 70% yes, but couldn't explain more; 20% yes, but felt it was an earth family, and 10% no.
34. What does WingMaker mean to you? Describe your thoughts/feelings/knowledge of the word: 90% explained that they felt it was someone to give another their spiritual wings. 7% didn't answer, 3% didn't know what they felt about the word.
35. Why do you think/feel/believe that you are an Indigo? 70% explained a vague feeling about it, 17% explained other things but didn't really answer the questions, 13% didn't have a clue.
36. What does being an Indigo mean to you? 80% said it meant to help, but couldn't explain further; 7% seemed to have a good grasp on the goal of an Indigo, and 13% didn't have a clue.
37. What do you do to keep grounded? Nothing significant to compare.
38. Do you relate to a specific star, constellation, planet, galaxy, universe, etc? When? Why? Nothing significant to compare.
39. Describe any remarkable health stories of yours: Many stories, but nothing that stands out as being in common with others

41. When thinking, where in or around you do your thoughts come from? 90% outside of their head, 10% inside their head. About 90% also said they had never thought of it before
42. When talking or thinking of anything spiritual/mission or purpose oriented or anything related to your Indigoness, where do your thoughts come from now? 90% outside of their head, 10% from inside their head. About 90% also said they had never thought of it before
43. What is your favourite saying? Too many to list and very few in common
44. Do you or have you ever experienced problems wearing watches, around electrical equipment, light bulbs, electronics, etc. Oddly enough only 65% had this anomaly
45. Do you ever experience what might be called mental hurricanes or mental tornadoes or mental hurricanes? (This is explained in Level 2) Where are you when it happens? Less than 30% had this happen to them. When it did it was most of the time in crowds of some sort, and of these, very few knew little to anything about shielding themselves.
46. What would you like to know more about? Nothing significant to compare.
47. List the extraordinary gifts or skills or remarkable interests you have. (RV, OBE, music, kinesis, telekinesis, counseling, teaching, etc., etc.) Nothing significant to compare.
48. If you are female, are younger men attracted to you? 97% said yes

49. New Question: Have you ever suffered from ODD (Oppositional Defiance Disorder). [ODD is identified by extreme angriness in children, causing them to hurt themselves and others. A big part of this trauma is from witnessing domestic violence between the ages of birth and 5 years old. This appears to be a growing diagnosis in Indigo children.] This question was added late in the survey, but those who did respond: 80% said they had anger issues growing up.

50. Have you told any of your family members or anybody else besides other Indigos about your Indigoness? If so, what was their reaction and how do they treat you now? Again, this question was added late in the survey. Those who did respond: 80% keep it to themselves, 10% are open and receive support, 10% were open and are ostracized from their family.

51. May we put your answers to this questionnaire on The Indigo Way? 134 results were posted on the site, 866 results didn't want their answers posted, and 1 used foul language and was omitted.
52. What is your first name and may we use it with the answers to this questionnaire? 98% gave a name, 2 percent requested anonymity.
